Pineview Village is a resident funded, independent living retirement village comprising of 83 one and two bedroom units.
It is operated by Burnside Retirement Services Inc., a non-profit organisation registered under the Associations Incorporation Act, 1985 and in accordance with the Retirement Villages Act of South Australia, 1987.
The concept of the Village was originally developed in 1984 as a joint venture between the Corporation of the City of Burnside and Delfin Management Services Pty Ltd. Centrally located, the Village is set in a 3.34 hectare landscaped site on the corner of Greenhill Road and Conyngham Street, Glenside.
Pineview offers independent living for people over fifty five in pleasant surroundings, and is in close proximity to both the city of Adelaide with all its beautiful parks and gardens and the unique Burnside Village Shopping Centre.
The Village is serviced effectively by public transport and the City of Burnside Community Bus. The centrally located Community Centre includes a Hall, Library, Conference Room, Hairdressing Salon and Billiard Room and provides an ideal venue for the many activities organised by Residents’ Groups.
Residents are encouraged to use this Centre as an extension of their own home for entertaining large gatherings of family and/or friends.
